Charge Controllers
Charge controller is solar controller, which can be thought of as a
go-between for the solar panel and the battery
The function of a solar charge controller can be challenging to
understand, but at its most simple level, it can be thought of as a go-between
for the solar panel and the battery. In some cases, solar panels collect more
energy than the attached battery can handle, which can cause a dangerous
situation. The solar charge controller works to “control” the flow of energy
from the solar panel to the battery and back, ensuring the power doesn’t exceed
the load that the battery can handle, and attempting to curb wasted energy.
The solar charge controller performs this job by gauging the voltage of
the battery and keeping constant calculations of how much additional energy the
attached battery can safely handle.
Do I need a charge controller?
What are the different types of charge controllers?
There are two types of charge controllers to consider: Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)And Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
What size charge controller do I need?
Charge Controller 50A
Solar System Controller, Charger Controller, Lighting Controller
Charge Controller MPPT 60A 80A
Solar System Controller, Charger Controller, Lighting Controller
Charge Controller 48V 36V 24V 12V
